Sweet Haven is a popular dessert place which offer a variety of sweet desserts, cold drinks and sweet treats. Sweet Haven is located on the high street in Musselburgh.
I visited the Sweet Haven in Musselburgh which was s very fun experience. As I walked in the sweet smell immediately hit me. We were immediately greeted and then taken to our seats. I noticed there was not a lot of seats to sit as the shop was quite small, however I still felt as if the shop was big enough with quite a lot of space. The colours were very vibrant and bright which made the shop look inviting. My favourite part of the shop was that all around the walls there was jars and jars and jars of sweets as well as a pick n mix station. This made the shop look even more unique. Once we were seated we were given our menus to read through which showed how much variety they offered. After, we went to order at the tills where you could see all the different ice cream flavours that they offer, this is very helpful when you are ordering as its easy to choose the one you want when its visible. I decided to order the chocolate and strawberry crepe. It took a while to come however the wait was worth it as it looked and tasted very delicious. On our way out we even picked up a few sweets which were very enjoyable!
Overall the experience was very good as the dessert tasted amazing and the sweets were very tasty. Although the space to sit isn't as big as other dessert shops it didn't matter much because they filled the other space with the different sweet and ice cream choices. I highly recommend a trip to Sweet Haven!!
